Here's the new and improved fiction section for my main group (I realize this has been needed for some time). Ok, everything's been broken down into three different, but related, story lines that go as follows:

Notes ~ This is really more for my own benefit, as I doubt it'll be that interesting to anybody else. I keep writing notes about their characters and then misplacing them. Maybe if I just type them up here, I won't have to do so much math to figure out how old person A was in year X compared to person B...

"Pull The Trigger ~ (takes place about a year and a half previous) (Contains violence and profanity) Description: Vengeance (this was created for a writing challenge based on the song "Broken Bones" by Aqualung. Word Count: 199)

"Smoke and Music ~ (takes place three years prior to the main story (Lorry is 18)) (Contains mild profanity) Description: Two things that bring people together--music and addictive substances. "If Only I Could" ~ (16 years in the past) Description: A father helpless in the face of his child's grief. (created for a writing challenge based on the poem "Variation On the Word Sleep" by Margaret Atwood. Word Count: 620)

The Things Left Behind ~ (16 years in the past) Description: What's left after someone's gone.

After adding another story to the main fiction section, I came to the realization that I really need a better way of organizing things. It's kind of broken itself down into two separate story lines, but there's enough overlap that I'm not entirely sure how to do it. Should it be chronologically or by characters? If it's chronological, then some of the stuff about Frank, Liam, Lorry etc as kids would get lumped in with the stuff about Cait, Donncha and Tomas (who I think will probably end up with a body if it won't rip a hole in the dolly space time continuum), but it doesn't really fit there.

And as for Cait and Donncha, they do show up in later stories (especially Donncha). Sorry Tomas, you only get to appear at your funeral. Maybe it should be in three parts? 1970s-1980s, stories about Lorry, Liam, and Frank as kids, and then early to mid '90s... could work I suppose.

I also have a massive amount of fantasy type stuff I need to type up and post, though there is always the distinct possibility that I'll type it up and be so horrified by the awfulness that I won't actually go through with posting it. We'll see...

Also need to update the photo shoot section. I have some newer picks of Kohana, some pics of Aiden (who finally got his head blushed) I took for the DoA holiday contest, and an ok pic or two of Moskau. I have no excuse (especially since I have a lot more time on my hands right now), other than I am a horrible procrastinator.
